You may recognize our staff. Since this building has been a veterinary clinic since 1978 we have been lucky enough to employ some of the fantastic, well-trained staff from previous years that the Lake Cities clients loved. Together with the new faces, I'm convinced we have THE BEST TEAM. I'm so very proud of the quality care this team is committed to give you and your precious pets. We all have the unified goal to make this the best facility you will ever see.

Joanne
Clinic Manager
Joanne (or Jo) started in the veterinary field in 1995 working for Dr. Crownover when he owned the Lake Dallas Veterinary Clinic that was originated in our same building. She left years ago to pursue her real estate dreams, however, remained working as a part-time Veterinary Technician for a clinic in Denton up until this opportunity to return. Jo has always had more animals than her husband could stand... ranging from dogs and cats to sheep, goats, pigs, chickens, ducks, horses, donkeys and even a llama. She currently has "Dakota" the black lab, "Boco" the yellow lab, "Baboo" the cat, "Tiny" the 1900 pound Belgian draft horse and let's not forget "Harley" the potbelly pig and a few hens. They all live in Shady Shores with Jo and her family.

Miki
Lead Veterinary Technician
Staff Director
Miki has years of experience working in the veterinary field. She started out in 1994 with Dr. Crownover at the Lake Dallas Veterinary Clinic when she was just a pup herself. Miki has lived in the area since 1991 and graduated from Lake Dallas High School in 1996. She graduated from TWU in 2000 with an emphasis in mathematics and biology. Miki loves to rescue animals. She has Max & Izzy - both black labs and 4 cats...Kazua, Mai Ling, Raja, and Precious. In her spare time she likes to play soccer, read, watch movies and ride her motorcycle. In the fall of 2007, Miki made the Dallas Diamonds Football team. They are part of the womens full tackle football league. Be sure to go to a game and yell for Miki. She is number 60 and she looks great in her full pads uniform.

Lisa
Client Service Specialist
Nutrition Specialist
Lisa has lived in the great State of Texas since 1999. She started her veterinary career at the Lake Dallas Veterinary Clinic in 2000. Lisa has an African Grey named Moe who is a "super genius". She also has a dachshund named Wenzel who, according to Moe, is NOT a super genius! Last but not least is an American Shorthaired cat named Boots Wayne. Lisa and her family live in Lake Dallas. Lisa won't admit it, but she is a great cook and we love it when she brings in food.

Kim
Registered Veterinary Technician
Kim is a native Texan and grew up in the Lake Cities Area. She has known she wanted to be in the veterinary field since 6 years old and has a very strong passion for all furry critters. Kim recieved her license to become a Registered Veterinary Technician in May 2003 when she graduated from the Veterinary Technology program at Cedar Valley College in Lancaster, TX. She loves every minute of the career she has chosen. Kim currently lives in the Corinth area with her husband Blake and 4 furry children; three miniature longhair dachshunds named Hunter, Chevelle and Zeppelin, and one very handsome orange and white tabby named Romo. Kim is a big Dallas Cowboy fan!

Sue
Registered Veterinary Technician
Nutrition Specialist
Sue has been a Registered Veterinary Technician since 1979. She worked for Dr. Ronny Crownover in this same building when it was Lake Dallas Veterinary Clinic for 10 years. She left to go into veterinary supply sales with Burns Vet Supply. Sue then went to work for Hills Pet Nutrition for 9 years as a Nutritional Counselor and taught nutrition at veterinary clinics all over North Texas. Sue lives in Lake Dallas with her husband, Brian and 5 pets. She has two dogs, Cooter and Pudge and three cats, Luke, Bo and Stoney. Sue is very happy to be back working as a RVT and to help pets get the most out of proper medical care & nutrition.

Nicole
Veterinary Technician
Nicole was born and raised in Arlington, Texas. After going to college at Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches for 3 years she started as veterinary technician in 2008. Nicole has always wanted to work with either kids or animals. (They both bite and neither listen but they are the most loving and forgiving!) She has 2 cats; Zoe and her new little sister, Roo. Nicole enjoys anything outdoors and involving water.

Amy
Veterinary Assistant
Nutrition Specialist
Amy has been working in the veterinary field since 2003 and has a lot of experience in all areas of a vet clinic whether it be reception, kennel or a technician. When asked about her favorite part of a clinic, her response was "the animals". It took about 5 minutes to see that Amy was a very positive, energetic and compassionate person. She loves assisting clients with the needs of their pets. Amy is also a nutrition specialist for Hill's Science Diet pet foods. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her large family which includes 7 cats, 3 dogs, 2 birds, husband Derek and young son, Ewan.

Quinn

Quinn is our resident "slacker".
Just Kidding......Quinn works really hard taking excellent care of your pets.
He just is not very fast at turning in a real bio, so we had to make something up. Quinn graduated from Lake Dallas. He works here full time and goes to college part time. He seems to know everyone in the county!

Allison

Allison graduated from Lake Dallas High School in 2010. She works for the clinic part time and will be taking college classes. She loves working with animals and takes very good care of the pets that stay with us. Allison enjoys wakeboarding, swimming, and playing with her dachshund Wenzel.
