Dr. Shepherd is our mobile Equine Veterinarian. Occasionally you will see him at the clinic but most of the time he is on the road caring for horses.

Miki
General Manager

Miki started working in this building in 1994 with Dr. Crownover at Lake Dallas Veterinary Clinic when she was just a pup herself. She graduated from Lake Dallas High School and from TWU with an emphasis in mathematics and biology. Miki has a keen eye for detail and keeps our clinic running smoothly.  She loves to rescue animals. In her spare time she likes to play soccer, read, watch movies and ride her motorcycle.

Dr. Andrea Parker
Veterinarian

Dr. Parker is extremely happy to be at Lakeshore since 2012 and is the perfect person to lead our team. She attended The University of Texas at Austin for her undergraduate degree and then Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine for professional school. Since graduating in 2003, she has practiced in Flower Mound and San Antonio before landing at Lakeshore. Her special interests include cytology, wellness and senior care, and gastrointestinal problems. In her spare time she likes to read, hike and enjoys photography and health/fitness.

Dr. Tami Wallace
Veterinarian

Dr. Wallace graduated from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 2002 and worked in Keller for 14 years.  In 2016, she started at Lakeshore as a relief veterinarian.  She spent a year helping other veterinarians around the DFW Metroplex and came to fully understand what an amazing place Lakeshore is, and now is with us full time.   She loves working with animals, educating clients and developing wellness and treatment plans to help pets live longer and healthier lives. She has a husband and two boys, two sweet kitties and some tropical fish.  She enjoys gardening, reading, occasional crafting and spending time with family and friends. 

Dr. Deanna Barsallo
Veterinarian

Dr. Deanna Barsallo graduated with a BS in animal science from Texas Tech University in 2006 and completed her veterinary degree at Texas A&M University in 2010. She grew up in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and returned following graduation, practicing in north Dallas and Carrollton before making her way to Lake Dallas. She joined the Lakeshore Animal Clinic team in 2016. Dr. Barsallo lives with her husband and their two pups in Lewisville. She has special interests in soft tissue surgery and dentistry. When she’s not caring for pets, Dr. Barsallo enjoys international travel.

Hannah
Client Services

Hannah is also new to Lakeshore as of 2020.  She graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor in Zoology. She has a russian blue named Mav and a german shepherd named Dirk. In her free time she enjoys painting and watching Netflix with her cat. “I’m very excited to be at Lakeshore Animal Clinic because the quality of care is amazing and the staff is top notch.”

Client Services

Karli has been with Lakeshore since 2020. She graduated from Texas Tech in 2019 with a Bachelor in Human Development and Family Studies. She owns a sweet boxer mix name Sadie. In her spare time she enjoys being outdoors. If she can get the chance she would love to be at the beach. Karli would like to gain as much knowledge as she can in the veterinary field.

Kim
Veterinary Technician
Area Manager – Technicians

Lakeshore Animal Clinic has been Kim’s home-away-from-home since 2009. She is such a great asset to our team with her years of knowledge and expertise. Kim enjoys taking care of hospitalized patients, handling and calming anxious cats, educating clients and staff training. Kim has 2 miniature longhaired Dachshunds and 2 kitties. The human/animal bond is what brought Kim to this profession and she cherishes both her human and furry children. She is happily married and has one beautiful daughter. When outside the office she enjoys relaxing and having fun with family and friends.

Emily
Veterinary Technician

Emily has over 20 years of experience in the veterinary field and at Lakeshore since 2010. She is very knowledgeable and can help you with all your questions/concerns. Emily loves helping clients and animals and continuing to learn. She enjoys the family atmosphere of our team. Emily has 4 rescue mix breed dogs, 2 chihuahuas and 1 rescue cat. With this wonderful pet family, her home is filled with love, HAIR and pet toys. Away from Lakeshore, Emily is a great competitor at word and board games. She loves hanging out with friends and family. Her favorite pastime is watching football and, with her Midwest roots, the Kansas City Chiefs are her favorite team.

Jessica
Veterinary Technician

Jessica has been a mainstay at Lakeshore Animal Clinic since 2012. She completed her Licensed Veterinary Technician degree in the summer of 2017. She also has an Associate Degree in Veterinary Technology. We are very proud of her accomplishments, knowledge and expertise. Jessica has 3 golden retrievers (Bailey, Riggins and Bella). In her spare time she breeds Golden Retrievers and enjoys the outdoors and crafting. She loves caring for our wonderful patients and clients.

Crystal
Veterinary Technician

Crystal has been with Lakeshore since 2018. She has been a veterinary technician since 2012. She is a graduate of University of North Texas with a Bachelor in Applied Sciences. Crystal is the proud owner of a horse named Sugar, and 2 dogs named Tigger and Watson. In her spare time Crystal enjoys being outdoors riding her horse and reading.

Madison
Veterinary Technician

Madison is new to our Lakeshore family as of 2020, but not new to veterinary medicine. She graduated from Northwestern State University of Louisiana with a Bachelor in Biology and Associates in veterinary technology. Before coming to Lakeshore she was a technician at a clinic in Lousiana. She has a lab mix named Sadee Mae and a orange tabby named Manu. In her free time she enjoys tending to her succulents and cacti. “Im so happy to be at Lakeshore because of the positive atmosphere—everyone is very eager and willing to help or teach.”

Kate
Veterinary Technician

Kate has been with us since 2016. She grew up in Corinth and graduated from Lake Dallas High School.  She started as a kennel staff member and has worked her way up because of her exceptional drive and dedication. She has always had a strong love and passion for animals. She is a mom to a heeler mix named Waylon and 6 ducks. In her spare time she enjoys fishing or watching her sister play softball. Her dream is to further her knowledge in animal acupuncture and hydro therapy.

Logan
Veterinary Technician

Logan has been with Lakeshore since 2016, first as a kennel assistant and now as a veterinary technician. Logan has a loveable cat name Padme who is his everything. In his spare time he enjoys weight lifting, video games and playing with his cat. Logan loves working at Lakeshore to help other animals in a time of need.

Allison
Area Manager – Kennel

Allison has been with us since 2008. She started as a kennel attendant, moved to a technician assistant and now does a fantastic job as our kennel manager. Her attention to detail and organization is priceless. She loves the outdoors and hanging out on the lake in her spare time. Allison has had a hand in many of the projects here at Lakeshore. She is the proud owner of 2 dachshunds Captain and Morgan and has 1 cat named Fran. 

Sara
Kennel Attendant

Sara joined the lakeshore family in 2019. She graduated from Texas A&M in 2018 with a degree in Wildlife and Fishery Science. Sara loves exotic animals, especially reptiles. Before coming to Lakeshore, Sara was an intern at the Dallas Zoo. Sara takes care of your pets while they stay in our boarding facility. She enjoys getting to know them. In her spare time she loves to bird watch and play guitar.

Susana
Groomer

Has been with Lakeshore since 2008 but has been a groomer for 16 years. When she is not making your pets look and smell beautiful, she likes to spend her time outdoors with her family. She has a dog named Lola and a cat named Kleto. Her favorite things about grooming is getting to know the pets helping them look their very best and for them to have a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

Sam
Groomer

Sam has been working here at Lakeshore since 2018, but has been in the business of grooming for over 15 years. She has always had a love for animals including, horses, goats and rabbits. She has a 14 year old schnauzer named Vala. Her goal is to make all the grooming pets have a wonderful experience and leave clean and beautiful!
